About Craigleith Manor Bed & Breakfast
The day we drove up to 9 Craigleith Court in November 2013, we knew this was the right place for our bed and breakfast inn. On a quiet tree-lined cul-de-sac in Collingwood, Ontario, bordered by the Georgian Trail and minutes away from the south shores of South Georgian Bay, this private one-acre property is ensconced in the natural beauty that surrounds it.
The majestic 3,800-square-foot custom home was built in 1985 as a three-bedroom family residence. Built on three levels, it was ideally suited to creating both an exceptional boutique retreat and our own private living space. With a little creative thinking and some professional and innovative interior design, Craigleith Manor Bed & Breakfast was born.
Not your grandmother's B&B, during renovations the manor's interior walls and ceilings were insulated with sound and fireproofing to add comfort, privacy, and safety. Walls between guest rooms are sound insulated to ensure your sleep is deep and uninterrupted.
Today the B&B features three spacious, contemporary guest suites on the second floor, each with its own private ensuite; multiple living and dining areas for guest use; state-of-the-art chef's kitchen and butler's pantry for self-serve refreshments on the main level; and our private owners' apartment below. Rear doors open to a multi-level deck, lush gardens and breathtaking views of the Blue Mountains, part of the Niagara Escarpment and home to North America's oldest forest ecosystem.
